Profile & Qualification
Gede Putra Kusuma received PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2013. He is currently working as a Faculty Member and Head of Department of Master of Computer Science, Bina Nusantara University, Indonesia. He has been working as a faculty member at Master of Computer Science since 2015. He has been awarded the Best Learning Design for 2021 Online Learning System Award by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. He has also received the Top 5 Teaching Performances by Faculty Members for 2016-2020 period and the Best Teaching Award in 2017 and 2022 from Bina Nusantara University.
Before joining Bina Nusantara University, he was working as a Research Scientist at Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore for 4 years and 3 months, and as a Research Engineer at Centre for Signal Processing, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for 4 years and 7 months. He was the recipient of The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards in 2014.
Subjects: Deep Learning and Its Applications, IT Research Methodology, Mobile Technology and Cloud Computing, Writing Paper & Colloquium Thesis, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Network, Data Mining, dan Human and Computer Interaction.
Research interests: computer vision, deep learning, indoor positioning system, dan data science.
